A fellow blogger Stephen Beller is a bit frustrated by what he recently heard from RHIO leaders. I can understand his frustration, but do agree with the part about starting a little smaller. There is a lot to be said for getting technology in front of providers, getting them hooked on the usefulness and value it provides and generating some win win situations which may attract those with control of the purse strings. Besides, we have to continually prioritize -- especially in the beginning and set attainable goals! Only then, will we minimize the risk of failure and ensure progressive sustainability.
