Ugh! Those nighttime cravings , boy do I know about them. I eat more after midnight then I do during the day. Even my dogs know where to go for night time snacks!

How about sugar cravings...the dreaded "sweet tooth" that makes your life anything but sweet?
Yeah, I know all about it.
I had intense sugar cravings and night-timefood binges for years before I discovered a lifestyle-based system of living fit.
Over the years, I noted 9 tips in particular that really helped me over the periodic urges to keep eating sugar and snack late at night -- the two "diet-killers".
Would you like to learn how to conquer them without supplements, or dangerous-drugs?
Then you'll enjoy today's Fit Over 40 Q&A.
Q: "Jon, I've just about had it. Every time I start doing well on my dietplan, I get these massive urges to binge on food...especially at night.
"My sweet tooth feels like it's taken over my entire mouth!
"Is there anything I can do about this? I really want a lean and healthy body for the first time. I know if anyone can answer this, it's you."

A: Hi Cindy;
I feel your pain...and yes, there is are many things you can do about food-cravings.
The first tip I suggest is so simple most people will never believe it works: almond butter.
Or, raw almonds if you cannot get almond butter.
Just a teaspoon will put your cravings to rest for up to three hours.
I've used this tip more times than I can count. It has saved months of hard work by allowing me to continue on my preferred nutrition plan.
Remember: you can always eat the foods you desire -- just do it on your own schedule.
I cover eight other really easy tips for conquering food cravings in my -freee-e-book, "9 Tips for Overcoming Your Food-Cravings."
I give this e-book away when you pick up my Fit Over 40 Success For Life Kit, just released in February 2007.

"It’s been a year and 4 months since I picked up Fit Over 40. I finally went to my doctor this week for a cholesterol check.
"He’s the guy who wanted to start me on statins two years ago, and when I balked he claimed that only “heroic efforts” (regarding diet and exercise) would lower my levels.
"Guess I’m a hero now!
"The office just called and my total cholesterol went down from 284 to 215, LDL (bad cholesterol) from 199 to 133, and HDL is now 68.
"So I don’t need statins.
"She said the doctor was very impressed. Plus, my BMI is down 10 points and although my weight is only down about 20 lbs...I added at least 5 lbs of muscle mass.
"Thanks Jon! Your book, your story and your advice played a really big part in my success, and now I have the numbers to back it up."
