Matty comes to visit me at school once a week. He usually visits around dinner time, after I finish taking a fitness class or completing a solo gym session. Yesterday was a solo day. I completed 15 minutes on the treadmill, gradually increasing my speed. I left the incline alone because my toosh was
still sore from the combination of Butts & Gutts on Monday and Kickboxing on Tuesday! The workout looked like this:

Dinner
Dinner last night was delicious! Matty chose Cafe Mangal , a new-to-us authentic Mediterranean restaurant in Wellesley. The inside was welcoming and romantic, complete with dim lighting and an at-home dining room feel.
We started off with homemade bread and sundried tomato olive oil. I chose the whole wheat piece, while Matty opted for the housemade pita bread. It was uh-may-zing! We both agreed that we would have gladly drowned ourselves in the sundried tomato olive oil.
For my entree, I chose the Avocado, Hearts of Palm, and Grapefruit Salad and requested a side of kisir, a mix of bulgur, mint, lemon juice, pomegranate molasses, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and parsley. Both were delicious and so refreshing! I practically licked my plate clean.
After dinner, Matty and I came back to my dorm room and watched the season premiere of Modern Family. Hysterical. He has officially converted me into a fan.
Daily Musings
I don’t have class until 2:30 today, so I’m going to tackle a bunch of assignments and (hopefully!) get the majority of my work done so I can leave the weekend open for fun!
Question of the Day: What is your favorite new TV show this season?
I feel like there are SO many great shows on TV this year! Besides Modern Family, I’m loving The Sing Off (Sara Bareilles is one of my all-time favorite artists), Biggest Loser, and New Girl.
Stay lovely,
Heather
