Dandelion greens are more nutritious than spinach, and they can be eaten raw or steamed.
Its leaves are rich in Vitamin c and contains more beta carotene than carrots and are rich in iron.
Dandelion has been used as a remedy for diabetes, hepatitis,, rheumatism, cancer and osteoporosis.
It promotes the liver's production of bile, the fluid secreted into the small intestine to break down dietary fat.
Dandelion aids in recovery from many liver disease including hepatitis.
It is recommended as a diuretic for weight loss because it provides potassium which many other diuretic drugs do not.
Dandelion is also used as a mild laxative and for treatment of fungus infections.
It enhances adrenal function and help prevent anemia by strengthening the blood.
