CrossFit Weight Loss and Improvements

Hello!

I can’t believe it’s Thursday already! Yesterday I had 2 miles on my training plan . I had dinner plans with some work friends so I left work at 4:30 PM and hopped on the treadmill for 2 miles (we have a gym and locker room at work) and then was about to get in the shower when I got a text that my dinner plans where canceled. At this point it was 5:00 PM and I knew I could go home, watch some TV and relax or I could make the 5:30 PM crossFit class. I decided to hop on the subway and get my WOD on.

Strength

Exercise: Clean & Jerk (65lb PR)
Reps: 5×3 AHAP

Strength

Exercise: KB Strict Press/15lbs
Reps: 4xME

Metcon

7 Min. AMRAP of:

40 Toes To Bar
30 KB Swings (53/35)
20 Squat Cleans (65lbs)

Finished 1 Round + 28


CrossFit Improvements

I thought it would be interesting to see my improvements over the last couple of months of CrossFit. I started CrossFit in September therefore I am just shy of 4 months of doing CrossFit. I usually attend class about 4 times a week and I took a total of 2 weeks off; one for my back and the other during the holidays.

I am proud of myself for the progression I have made over the past few months. I am looking forward to seeing how much stronger I get in the upcoming months now that I am improving my diet.

Overall I was really happy with my measurement results. Taking my measurements last night gave me reassurance I am doing something right. Smile

Weight

 

A total of 4.9 pounds lost.

Overall I am really happy with the improvements I have made in strength and appearance. I was starting to doubt CrossFit a little and it’s good to know CrossFit is working and helping me get more fit.

Question:

Do you ever doubt what your doing only to look back and realize you are making improvements?
