I had to wear gloves on my run today.
*tear*
If you haven’t picked up on it already…I HATE THE COLD! I think being cold is the worst feeling in the world…..even worse than pain! I need to move somewhere warm ASAP! It was 44 degrees today and I am already miserable….I can just imagine a month from now when it’s below zero and snowing.
Speaking of below zero (nice little segue there 
), I wanted to share my thoughts on Arctic Zero with you all!
The company sent me a HUGE package of their frozen treats to try out! Seriously…..EVERY FLAVOR! Don’t mind if I do.
Mind you, I got these treats a little while back when it wasn’t so frigid outside. So my parents and I didn’t freeze our buts off as we were sampling. Yes, I shared with my parents……they were HUGE fans!
Check out the goods:
Arctic Zero treats are low in calories, high in protein, low in sugar, suitable for lactose intolerant people, fat free, gluten free, and high in fiber!
Awesome for a desert right!?
Now don’t get me wrong, these are little different than your typical ice cream but still delicious in their own right! I would say they are the texture of a kind of ‘ice milk’ rather than ice cream. A little less rich and a little less pronounced in flavor but still creamy, cool, and you have to admit, the varieties they have are amazing! Here are my faves in order:
1. Pumpkin Spice
Go figure right? I love me some pumpkin!
2. Mint Chocolate Chip
Mint chocolate chip is my favorite ice cream flavor so I knew I would like this!
3. Chocolate Peanut Butter
Chocolate and peanut butter? Nuff said.
4. Vanilla Maple
So unique! Loved the flavor combo in this one!
5. Cookies and Cream
Forgot to snap a pic! But aside from the weird color (it looked kind of grey?) this one rocked! Tasted like swirled up Oreos! 
6. Strawberry
Simple, fruity, light!
7. Chocolate
Perfectly chocolatey and decadent!
8. Coffee
I was really excited to try this one because I am a big fan of coffee ice cream, but sadly this was the only flavor I was actually disappointed with! Something just tasted off about the coffee flavor. Not what I was expecting at all.
I also got to try out their new Bars! 85 calories and covered in a delicious hard chocolate shells!
So yummy!
If you like a little sweetness in your life and want something that tastes indulgent but really isn’t, then Artic Zero is for you!

Switching gears for a second…..did you know it is National Vegetarian day? No? Well I just found out this morning so I thought I’d share some of my favorite vegetarian recipes with you all:

Delicious!
