Christmas in July

Posted Jul 15 2013 6:31pm
Today I received a call from my doctor's office as I had put in an application through the manufacturer of my seizure medicine. Initially I was denied, however I was not about to give up so wrote a letter, pulled last year tax income and showed what I make on a regular basis instead of what I have made this year as I had taken on a couple of new projects which are now finished.

Fortunately, they actually approved it. The best present I could get today after the worry about how I was going to pay for my medicine which allows me to function and drive. I don't know what worked and at this point don't care, but have a sigh of relief at least now I will have medicine that is a need for my Epilepsy.

I still do not have insurance and will have to maintain eating as healthy as possible and exercising and getting plenty of sleep on top of staying away from sick people until things change for the better someday.

For now I just wanted to share with you the result of perseverance, good thoughts and prayers from friends and family. If it was not for them I do not know where I would be right now.

Blessings Always,

Annie
