Ever since making my homemade peanut butter cups a few weeks ago i’ve been on a total pb & chocolate kick.
And although they’re a much better alternative to the processed, store bought version they are definitely not something I want to be indulging in on a daily basis. With summer around the corner i’ve been on a total smoothie kick lately so I decided to take my favorite treat and make it in smoothie form.
Chocolate Pb Banana ShakeIngredients:
1 frozen banana
1 tbsp cacao powder or chocolate protein powder
1 tbsp powdered pb or peanut flour
5 ice cubes
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup almond or coconut milk
Directions: Combine ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
Chocolatey, creamy, and packed with peanut butter flavor this shake has all of my favorite things about peanut butter cups in a rich, energizing, nutrient packed drink. If you haven’t tried PB2 or peanut flour i’d highly suggest it. Its a great way to add a ton of peanut butter flavor to anything without using an excessive amount of peanut butter. I also LOVE the chocolate PB2 mixed with almond milk on top of waffles, but more on that later
