Hey guys,
Today has been even crazier than yesterday, if that's possible. This is gonna be as to-the-point as I can make it, cause I am about to crash! This morning feels like it was a week ago.
I didn't sleep very well and woke up at 6am. I had overnight oats in greek yogurt that I prepared the night before:

Greek yogurt
Pumpkin
Oats
Sliced banana
Cinnamon
Pumpkin Pie Spice
Vanilla Galaxy Granola
Spoon of mighty maple pb
My mom and I hunted down some coffee, then we went and picked up the moving van. We went to my old apartment, and my sis and dad started moving stuff while I went to my advising appointment. I officially changed my major to
kinesiology and while I'm happy about it, it's very, very stressful. There are a lot of classes I need to take that are full, and I need to check online multiple times every day in hopes that they opened up more slots or someone dropped. I also have to take a math placement test and get above 75, so I can take pre-calc. The math class I took before doesn't count.
It's good, but it's a ton of stress, and I keep getting the "what the hell am I doing??" feeling. It's just so scary!
Lunch was a salad with a Gardenburger chick'n grill patty:

It was good--a little spicier than the morningstar ones, but with less of a grill taste. I'd buy it again, but only if there weren't any of the morningstar brand.

And another salad:

I also had a rice cake with raspberry white chocolate Pb Loco.

Then the cable guy came and set up my internet, and we started unpacking.
I had more snacks. Kelp noodles with Annie's Island Marinade:

So yummy--I love how they absorb the flavor of the marinade, and they lend a perfect crunch.
Mini oikos with Galaxy Granola, tons of cinnamon/pumpkin pie spice, and Barney Butter.

This is the granola I used:

I love it, and can't find it in Michigan. But they've got it at the Whole Foods here!
After a while, we took a trip to Target, Goodwill (to check for cheap good furniture--no luck), and then IKEA. We bought a bunch of stuff we have to set up tomorrow.
We stopped at Pita Jungle for a pretty late dinner.

I wasn't all that hungry, just super tired. But I saw a salad on the menu that sounded perfect for me! It was the
Carribean Salad, and it had a ton of fruit with a topping of coconut and golden raisins, over a bed of greens with a deliciously sweet strawberry dressing.

I loved it! It was HUGE, and I definitely didn't mind--I can eat a lot of fruit. It had pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, bananas, pink grapefruit, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, grapes, apples... so, so yummy. Definitely my kind of "comfort food."
Alright, now I've gotta take a shower and go to bed. Today has been absolutely insane. It was go-go-go from the very beginning until now! I'll have apartment pics tomorrow :)
Q: What are your "comfort foods?" Mine definitely include fresh fruit, huge salads, oatmeal, greek yogurt combos, and PUMPKIN! Haha,
especially pumpkin :) When I get stressed, I crave fruit and pumpkin desserts, not chips or burgers or anything. What about you?
