It’s no secret that I love farmer’s markets . There is something so awesome about farm fresh produce and other local products. So when I saw that Central Farmer’s Market was ubber close to my parent’s house in Phoenix, and they had never been, I made it my mission to get them there. I am SO glad we went because this market is seriously awesome.
Central Farmer’s Market is located on the SE corner of Central and Northern in Phoenix. It runs all summer long and is open from 8AM-12PM. One of the cool things about it? It is literally cool. The market is both an indoor and outdoor market so you can stroll through the vendors while enjoying the AC. This is SO appreciated in the scorching hot summer of Phoenix, Arizona.
With TONS of vendors there is sure to be something for everyone. There was grassfed beef, local dairy products, fresh bread, homemade granola, cake pops, wild caught fish, dog treat booths, tons of produce and SO much more. We bought the BEST empanadas the first time we went. They were so good we went back to the market last weekend just for the empanadas! While I love our Richmond Hill Farmer’s Market I have to admit the amount and quality of vendors in Phoenix was impressive.
My mom, step-dad and I had so much fun exploring the market and picking out exciting new products to try. It just goes to show, even in the dessert of Arizona you can find awesome and fresh local produce. If you’re in the Phoenix area I highly recommend you checking out Central Farmer’s Market. I ended my day there grabbing a local chai tea latte from the awesome Shine coffee truck.
PS – Shine is opening a new store location soon Willo Historic District! Make sure to check them out
