can you count weight watcher points and also be a heavy lifter

Posted by kristi0865

I work out daily, lift weights at least 4 days a week and do cardio almost every day, at least 30 minutes. My question is, can I follow the WW diet and lift like that. I am not loosing the last 10 pounds I'd like to loose.

Yes, there's no problem with the WW diet and exercising. In fact, exercise is recommended as part of the diet/lifestyle plan. To increase your metabolism, you might consider raising the amount of cardo and the intensity.

Also, a personal trainer might be a worthwhile investment as he/she could design a workout plan that would maximize results. A trainer can help you to do more than you might be inclined to push for on your own. For every pound of muscle you build, that tissue burns 35-50 calories a day.

Adding an additional 10 pounds of lean body mass to your frame would up your daily caloric expediture by 350-500 cal, a significant increase in metabolism that would aid you in achieving your weight loss goal and maintaining it.

There's a lot more information on my website about nutrition, fitness, and weight control. Keep up the good work!
