Face Exfoliant Mask
1-2 tbsp - Brown sugar
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp olive oil
I just love exfoliation. Who doesn’t want radiantly glowing skin that is soft to touch? I actually get so excited about the superb results of beautiful skin from exfoliating that I find it hard to stick to the rules on exfoliation. For my sometimes oily/combination skin 2 days a week is plenty. But it really depends on your skin type. So you will need to assess that first before embarking on your exfoliation journey to ensure the least amount of irritation that may be caused to your skin.
This exfoliant mask I have created this week is going to help to remove oils and toxins from your skin and at the same time add moisture to leave your skin silky to touch with a pleasant glow.
Who would have thought that brown sugar we often use in cakes and on a hearty breakfast such as porridge could become such a sweet treat for the face?
Why brown sugar?
Brown sugar is an excellent natural exfoliant when used gently on the face or body to remove dead skin cells
Why honey?
Honey is mans oldest sweetener but can also be useful for the skin. It is known for its antibacterial properties and can be great for adding moisture.
Why Olive Oil?
It is great on the skin as it pulls out dirt and impurities from pores as well as moisturizing.
