Happy Monday, friends! I hope you’re having an amazing day so far, filled with lots of love. It’s all around us – we just have to make the conscious decision to bring the loveto every situation in our lives. This is when doors open and we become more connected to ourselves.
Now is a beautiful time to bring the love to ourselves, our family, and our friends. We can take a minute to sit back, close our eyes, breathe deeply, and be grateful for the love in our lives! If you’re not so sure how to channel that love, fear not! I have a beautiful, simple meditation for us to do today! Follow this simple meditation and you will channel the love inside you, feel it rush through your extremities and be the best you that you can be for the world! Try it today or whenever is most convenient and calming for you. Just trust, let go, and allow love to come in. You’re going to feel amazing!
Bring the Love Meditation
In a serene and calming space for you, sit on the floor cross-legged, hands gently propped on your knees.
Close your eyes and breathe deeply. Release all thoughts on your exhale. Simply pay attention to your deep inhales and deeper exhales.
Repeat the following out loud: “I am love. Only love is real. I choose to see love in everything I do and everyone I meet. I am a living extension of love.”
Repeat the above phrase as many times as you see fit while still practicing deep inhales and deeper exhales.
Allow your mind to soften and calmly sit in silence. Let go and allow your thoughts to vanish.
…How amazing do you feel now?!
When we allow ourselves to get lost in the love, we really do connect with our truth. This is when the messages from others come in – an affirmation that we are in the right space. For example, after I did this meditation, I received this Tweet from my friend Brittany :
You are deserving of love everyday. Decide that. Live that. BREATHE THAT!
Moving forward, today is day one of our #plantPOWER Turkey Day celebration. Woo hoo!
Kasey and I are so excited to bring the #plantPOWER love to our Thanksgiving dinner tables. I love bringing dishes over to my aunt’s house for Thanksgiving. Seeing my family enjoy vegan, plant-based meals and seeing their perception of veganism change is such a blessing!
Today, our dear friend Danielle, author of Clean Food Creative Fitness , has brought us an amazing Turkey Day side dish. It contains simple foods packed with lots of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber – all the makings of a fantastic side to serve to those you love. If you’re looking for an easy-peasy dish to make, give this one a try! If you’re not looking for an easy-peasy dish to make, consider making one. Trying something new is always a good way to get yourself feeling good.
