breath. balance. be.

There are three words to describe my Sunday.  Breathing.  Balancing.  Being.

I spent an exorbitant amount of time making breakfast and lunch, simply because I had the time.

 

I spent time with my brother who was home from college…enjoying his contageous smile…

enjoying his great humor!  (What big muscles you have, Erik!)

 

I meandered through the yard which was hidden under a blanket of leaves.

I ate 2 slices of vegetable topped pizza with family, because some days the kitchen (and cooks) just need a break.

Today was dedicated to enjoying the simple pleasures in life.  I packed away my school books, pushed my to-do list out of sight, and let my chores escape my thoughts.  I appreciated all the wonderful things in my life!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT:  Ever so often, it is important reflect on our life.  How do you spend your days?  What have you accomplished?  How often do you do something you enjoy?  When was the last time you just took a walk and just listened?  It is very easy to get caught in the hustle and bustle we call our life.  We easily forget the important things that make each day “special.”  Family.  Friends.  Health. Sunshine.  Happiness.  Food.  Take some time each day to truly life.  Do something you love.  Spend time with people you care about.  Go outside and appreciate the beautiful world we live in.  Just live!
