Breakfast Fit for a Queen Bee

This recipe was actually from yesterday's breakfast; however, I just had to share it with you! I didn't have a very nice-looking breakfast this morning, so I did a little switcharoo and here you go!

Bacon-Wrapped Eggs
-6 slices of bacon
-6 eggs
-Extra virgin olive oil
-Salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat six sections of a muffin tray with extra virgin olive oil. Wrap one piece of bacon around the outside of each cup, pressing it against the muffin tray to make a circular shape. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the bacon begins to turn golden. Remove from oven and add one raw egg to the centre of each bacon ring. Return to the oven and cook for another 15 minutes or until the egg is cooked to the desired hardness. Enjoy!

This made a delicious Sunday breakfast, although next time I'll be sure to cook the bacon for longer before adding in the egg. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Morning Snack

I had to work a midday shift today, but I needed a little pick-me-up to get me through the day. I stopped at McDonald's for a free small coffee to bring with me to work.

I also brought a Ritz Peanut Butter Crackerfuls and an apple with me to work to eat around lunchtime.


I worked on school work when I got home from work and straight through lunch. I ended up making a light Caesar salad from a kit for dinner with some savoury potato wedges. Everything was super tasty and helped push us through our assignment in no time!


Before heading to work today, I knew I needed to get in a workout otherwise I would never end up doing it. I threw on the Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30 DVD to get my sweat on. I plan on doing the full 30 days of this workout, especially now that I'm so busy! It'll give me a good challenge and make sure I get in my workouts.
