Ok, so Ashley was not pleased with me when I told her that I would be in and out of Healthy Living Summit . As a bit of a peace offering, I decided to document my day so we could provide two different pictures of the great city of Chicago.
I began with a quick egg sandwich at corner bakery which also hapened to be right next door to my first destination – The Chicago Architecture Foundation . You all may not know this but despite my career in finance, I actually studied archetecture in under grad at Georgia Gech. Thus, I was totally excited for my two hour architectural walking tour entitled “the birth of the skyscraper”. Here are some highlight…
After the tour I was famished and my friend juaco had recomended that I stop for lunch at rl grill which was at the north end of the magnificent mile. I sure was glad I was on vacation because I went all out. I had some beef carpacio (it was pretty good) followed by one of the most decedent sandwiches I’ve ever had. Imagine lobster, bacon and truffle goodness all between two slices of fresh wheat toast. Wow – totally awesome. Then I headed to meet Ash at Healthy Living Summit.
