Today is a blah day. I woke up later than I wanted, but my alarm went off while I was in the middle of a dream and I don’t know about anyone else, but when I wake up in the middle of a dream I am SO TIRED. So I mistakenly fell asleep again for almost an hour. Whoops! Then I woke up to about 100 emails which subsequently mean a lot of errands today. I’m trying to become a substitute teacher here and the paperwork is ridiculous. Today I have to go get a TB test and then I have to get finger printed next week, but the ONLY day I can do it (according to my letter of the alphabet) is TUESDAY at like 1pm. That is SO inconvenient. I think I won’t work Tuesday but will work Thursday instead? And then I have to go to the grocery store and fill out paperwork for Team In Training. I’m running a 10k in March and if I participate in TNT I get a training group and I have to raise $300 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I’ve wanted to do this in the memory of a close friend who passed, so I’m excited. It is just yet another bunch of paperwork to fill out today. And it is such a beautiful day, I want to take the puppy on a nice long walk.

I went to the gym after I woke up late and did 25 minutes of intervals on the elliptical, a lot of ab work, and a couple arm machines but nothing too strenuous. Today was also my weigh-in and I only lost .2 lbs. Booo. Well, at least I didn’t gain? Also I woke up for the first time all week WITHOUT a tight right hamstring! I think sitting on my floor in pigeon pose for 10 minutes last night did the trick. I’ll be doing that again tonight, since my race is tomorrow morning!
