DSC06667 Dinner tonight was filled with IRON ! According to the name, it contains beef (heme iron) and broccoli (non-heme iron). [read more about heme/non-heme iron here]

Broccoli is my ALL TIME FAVORITE veggie. Not that my list of “veggies I eat” is long...but it is slowly growing, I just added cucumber to it! But broccoli I love. Raw, cooked, it!


This dinner is delicious. I probably could/should use brown rice (or something with a little more nutrition than white rice). White is all we have right now, so that is what we ate. I added more broccoli than the recipe called for, of course. Very very tasty.
