BEAT!

Posted Feb 04 2010 6:38pm

Holy Crap I am beat. I just had a really really long dayso this is going to be a quick post before I pass out on the couch and watch a movie.

It was a long and busy daybut I really got a lot accomplished and I feel good about it. That should count for something right? My day began at 5 AM with a run around campus…

Time: 1:23:47

Distance: 10.76 miles

Average Pace: 7:49 per mile

It was an interesting morning a few minutes after I woke up…

Did you see the pizza that I ate last night? That probably isn’t the best thing to eat when you are somewhat lactose intolerant. I say somewhat because I can handle small amounts of dairylike cheese on my sandwichyogurtect… But when I have something like pizza or ice creamI pay for it the next day. Once it is out of my systemI am completely finebut it makes for an interesting morning. That pizza was so good thoughthat it was worth it. I would do it again in a heart beat ;)

Once I was cleared outI had a really really good run. Really really good. There wasn’t really anything that special about itbut it just felt amazing. Everything just felt so natural and I felt like I could have kept running forever. After 10 milesI felt like I just warmed up and was ready to start running for real. That is what you call being in the zone :) Do you ever have runs like that? UnfortunatelyI had an early morning classso my dream of running forever was shattering when I looked at the time. At least it is almost the weekend so I have plenty of time to run as my heart desires. I have absolutely no plans at all. No work or anything this weekend. YES! I love lazy weekends like that. I really need one after this killer week. I am seriously fried right now.

The rest of the day was basically a whirlwind of a day. Classadvising appointmentmeeting with two groups for classesa study sessionand some homework. Now it is time to pass out and do it all again tomorrowexcept not quite as much ;) Just two classes and workthen I am FREE!
