Just because it’s popular doesn’t mean it’s smart or good for you. Enlist fellow trend buckers and create a trend of your own.
Yesterday afternoon, I linked up with Sarah Kay Hoffman’s blog “ a gutsy girl ” and I am so glad that I did. She took Revolutionary Act’s 101 Days of Blogging Challenge and she is killing it! I linked up with the blog and plan to incorporate various days of the challenge into my own blog. Today’s topic: TRENDS & FADS.
The world of health & fitness is full of trends, fads, quick-fixes, and diets. But, time after time, we told that they they just do not work. Why? Perhaps it is because everybody is different. While you can follow trends to better your health, you should be the one to define your health at the end of the day. You and a doctor if needbe (of course). I am not a licensed dietitian or a nutrition expert, but what I AM is a health fanatic that has taken charge of my life. I have pledged to live a healthy lifestyle that works for me.
How Do I Define MY Savvy Sassy Health?
I define my health as the choices I make when nobody is looking. It is simple to appear healthful in the minds of others; but the choices I make at the end of the day when I only have myself to answer to? That is MY TREND. I define MY health by eating clean and training mean. Those choices define my health, my lifestyle, and the life I wish to lead.
At the end of the day, that is what it all comes down to. Define yourself. Define your health. Define your fitness. It is your life, your body, and your choice. Don’t you owe it to yourself to buck the trends and BE YOUR OWN TREND?
