If you think turkey burgers are plain, boring, and tasteless, I beg to differ.
While I traditionally make my burgers with beef, sometimes it is nice to change it up every once and awhile and have a turkey burger.
Or is it just an excuse to let me put bacon on it?
Of course not
Turkey actually has a lot of flavor as long as you use a mixture of white and dark meat. Ground turkey breast can be a little dry and boring, but if you add a little dark meat into the mix, you have a flavorful, juicy burger. I buy the 93% lean as opposed to the 99% ground turkey breast. That is just my preference, but feel free to use either.
To me, this burger was total comfort food.
