I am sticking with the banana and chocolate chip theme with todays recipe. I decided to make this bread because my friend Lisa was talking about how much she loves Banana Chocolate Chip Cake . Instead of making a cake I made a Banana Chocolate Chip Bread. Making the bread was little more guilt free since I didn’t need the frosting like a cake would. It turned out yummy. If you love regular banana bread you will love this aswell.
Banana Chocolate Chip Bread
(approx. 195 cals per serving)
2 1/3 cups all-po\urpose flour
1/2 cup truvia baking blend
2/3 cup light butter
2/3 cup low fat buttermilk
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat All the ingredients except for the chocolate chips. Beat for about 3 minutes scraping the bowl constantly.
Stir in chocolate chips. Pour the batter into a bread pan that is sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake for 55 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
