What’s your one characteristic that could classify as the employee-interview-what-could-you-improve-on-question that you want to turn from a negative question to a positive question? You all know what I’m talking about here. Mine is that I run at 100 miles an hour. I am a balls-to-the-walls, if I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it ALL out! 100%. No looking back! And I choose to take on a lot. This often leads to me running in a million directions at 100 miles per hour on a regular basis. There are worse things right? Better to be over motivated than under-motivated in my opinion!
What better way to kick off a balls to the walls fitness filled holiday season with a 15K run tomorrow morning!? Couldn’t think of any better way! I am taking part in the 15K Hot Chocolate Run through downtown Chicago! I am so psyched. And by the way my VBL’ers, you are all awesome at guessing. Either that or I’m not as mysterious as I thought! A bunch of you guessed I’d be taking part in a race, run, or triathalon of some sort. One of you even guessed the Hot Chocolate Race specifically – Go girl! Although she also guessed I’d be taking part in the after race hot chocolate treat – which I will not. No sugar for this girl. I’ll be bringing my wonderful chocolate protein shake instead. Kill joy? Maybe in some eyes – but for me, it’s just what my little heart desires!
I got myself an-I’m-still-cool-fanny pack runner’s pack to put my protein powder, BCAA chews, keys, money, chapstick, extra hair ties, and all that good stuff in. I also updated my playlist and added it to my phone so I don’t have to have my phone AND my mp3 player on me.
