I had a crappy lunch. I was out shopping with the boys and since tucking yourself away in the far back corner of the food court to nurse your baby is tricky enough, I didn’t want to risk doing so with an unhappy, squirming toddler. Fries are a good bet to keep said toddler happy and occupied so I caved and we shared a McNugget meal (shared isn’t quite right, Marcus had a small handful of fries and a nugget, I ate the rest!)
I skipped my workout today. P90X was calling me, but I turned on my selective hearing and ignored it! I was supposed to do plyometrics today but having the Hubby home after a few days on the road kind of distracted me and now it’s 10:36 and I’m sure as hell not exercising now!
I didn’t do the dishes either. Nope, my dinner dishes from last night and tonight are STILL sitting on the counter beside the sink, quietly waiting to be washed and put away.
Yup, I was a bit of a lazy ass today! But, I got some great deals down at Target so that kind of makes up for it (?). No, no it doesn’t. Everyone deserves to be lazy once and while right? I feel kind of bad that I not only ate crap for lunch, but I fed some of that crap to my kid and then on top of it I didn’t exercise beyond hoofing through the mall! Oh well, tomorrow night is Run Club and we’ve got 6k on the schedule so I’ll try to do a strength workout during the day and double up.
Hmm, that’s one thing I need to work on actually. I’d like to come up with a modified P90X-ish schedule where my Run Club and Clinic nights are the cardio days and the P90X strength and flexibility workouts fill in the other days. Not like it will be a hard thing to do, it’s just that in my lazy state today, I haven’t done it! :o)
And in other news, Sarah commented on a previous post about seeing a specialist for my lady problems and I just wanted to say that I’m one step ahead of you girl! Unfortunately my appt isn’t until April though, I guess I’m not the only lady here in the Lower Mainland dealing with this crap!
