Welcome back home to me. I’m back home from my trip to Cali and settled in. I know myself well enough to know that it takes me a full day to get back into my routine and feeling rested.
With that said I had a great workout today then grilled swordfish steaks from Whole Foods.
Swordfish Steak and Steamed Asparagus
When buying meat and fish I look for organic, natural, responsibly raised or caught and local. This handsome piece of swordfish was not an exception. It’s MSC certified. MSC stands for the Marine Stewardship Council and they recognize and reward sustainable fishing. If you want more info check out the link above.
A note on buying local, orgaic, natural, local meats and fish:
Because I don’t add salt to anything and use only salt-free seasoning and herbs to flavor my food it’s extra important that I get the best quality foods. I have found that eating organic meat tastes better with minimal seasoning. It may be more expensive, but until organic and natural farming practices are the norm that’s where I will be spending my money.
