Back at it–and it feels so good!

Hello!

Guess who was back at CrossFit last night? MEEE!!!

After a week of life getting in the way it felt so good to be back!

My first WOD back was tough. At the end I was really struggling and pushed myself extra hard to finish in under 15 Minutes.

Thoughts

I can’t go a week without working out. My body doesn’t recover well from rest. Taking 3-4 days off is great but taking 8 days off really slowed me down. When I was stretching I couldn’t reach my toes, I forgot the proper way to deadlift and my toes to bar was a mess.  

I am leaving for NJ tomorrow for a week. There is a CrossFit Box about 5 miles from my parents house so I am going to try and get there Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Originally I wasn’t going to go to CrossFit while I was home because a weekly pass is $50.00. I was just going to run all week but reality is I know myself well enough to know I won’t run.
