As we’re coming to the end of Spring I thought it would be fun to share a recipe that makes the most of the great Spring produce that’s still around.
If you’re local to Melbourne checking out Melbourne’s Community Farmer’s Markets is an easy way to get your hands on the latest and greatest in fresh, local produce. It doesn’t matter where you are though, similar community ventures exist all over the place, you just need to track them down.
Garlic and asparagus are both in season right now and come together so nicely to make a very many special dishes. The talented Heidi Swanson has put a lovely recipe that combines both with superstar avocado in an Avocado and Asparagus Tartine on her beautiful cookery website 101 Cookbooks.
