Hello from Athens, Georgia! The girls and I road-tripped from Chapel Hill to Athens yesterday afternoon to visit our dear friend and former classmate Lauren (pretty blonde in the floral top) this weekend!
It just so happened that 5 of us are training for various long-distance races so we all did a long run together this morning. We bundled up for the cold and windy conditions.
A little pre-run sustenance before hitting the pavement was necessary.
I had a 9 miler on the training schedule but we ended up powering through and making it 10! Man, Athens is hilly…
but pretty nonetheless. We ran through town and then did a couple of loops around a trail nearby.

We’re feeling pretty relaxed after a hot shower and lunch and now are off to downtown Athens to do a little shopping before a fun dinner together tonight.
