Has to be one of the greatest board games ever. Matt and I headed over to the parents house for another BBQ since my brother is in town on a break from school at UF. I played Sour Apples for the first time and if you’ve never played it before it is an absolute riot! Clicking on the photo below will take you to the product on Amazon to read a better description of the game (and read the over 400 reviews!). It’s very easy to play and I haven’t laughed as hard in my life until I head my dad read our choices for ‘juicy’ and he came to ‘customer service representative’.
Dad took on the task of grill master and even let Matt act as his Assistant Griller.
Mom made this amazing DIY wrap tray for the vegetarians (mainly me, although she rarely eats meat). I even made up a few to take home for lunch the next day.
Free food from the parentals is always welcome.
A view of the amazing spread! I bet you can’t guess which plate was mine and which was Matt’s.
After dinner Dad asked Matt to help him out learning the ‘facebook’. Matt even offered to be his friend on there since Josh and I both refused.
Next came a few rounds of Apples-to-Apples.
Followed by s’mores (can’t you tell my family really loves toasting marshmallows!)
Today we tried to get a long hike in before the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Debby makes landfall and it didn’t go well …. at all. As in, we ran screaming from the woods. I’ll post about the experience tomorrow! Hope everyone else has had a wonderful weekend!
