After a wonderful three-day weekend I feel rejuvenated. Friday night I rushed to Port Authority to catch a bus home. When I got there the line was so long but luckily I was the 48th person on the bus line and they allowed 51.
If I didn’t get on that bus I would have had to wait an additional hour for the next bus.
When I got to the bus station in NJ my sister picked me up. As soon as I walked in the house a wonderful dinner was set on the table and with a bottle of wine. The food was delish and I could not thank my mom enough for the surprise dinner.
Saturday morning I had to get to the hair dresser for an early morning appointment. Before my hair appointment I went for a 3 mile run.
I spent several hours at the hair salon and love my extensions.
After my hair appointment I went across town to do some volunteering for Sandy victims.
The devastation was so hard to process. These families lost everything and it truly was heart-breaking. The more people I talk to the more people I know for where affected by Sandy.

Saturday night my mom and I had big plans to go shopping at the mall. Unfortunately I didn’t find much but did end up with this cute work dress from The Loft. It was reduced to $49.99 and then they where offering an additional 40% off. I also had a $20.00 rewards card so the dress came to $10.00! WIN!
I am not very good at this whole self portrait thing.
Sunday afternoon my cousin had a family lunch at her new home. All of my cousins have small children so it was so fun hanging with the kids especially my god-son.
I headed back into the city in the afternoon to meet TBF and do some shopping. We went to Bloomingdales for there friends and family but I did not see anything special. After some shopping we met friends for dinner at David Burke . I ordered the mini burgers but they where blah. The three small burgers cost $18.00 and I didn’t think they where anything special.
Yesterday I ran lot’s of errands and then went to CrossFit!

Finished in 36 Minutes 10 Seconds! We had a 40 Minute time cap so I was excited to finish under the cap.
After CrossFit I headed to the UES for a NYJL event.
