How is everyone? I can say that I am so ready for this house to be done. Yesterday we finished the foundation and today David and his family are getting ready to start the framing! That’s the fun part of the house building.
I’ve updated the house blog with the latest updates.
Right now I’m blogging from work (shhh) so this will be a pictureless update. I have some stuff to write up though: a delicious dinner at Met Back Bay on Saturday night and volunteering at the Harpoon 5 Miler this morning.
I also tried running this morning and 2.5 miles took me about 23 minutes to run. Not the fastest that I’ve been. I definitely think that building the house has given me some upper body strength but it sure hasn’t done anything for my endurance. Just have to get back into it! I don’t plan on any grand PR’s on the race this Sunday but I’ll have fun running with some great people.
Since it looks like the house won’t be done until the end of June (and our lease is up at the end of this month) at the earliest, David and I will probably be looking into an extended stay type hotel to stay in. The last time I had to stay at a hotel like that was the Westboro Inn in 1992 ( I was 8 ) when our house in Mendon was being built. Here’s hoping that the place has free breakfast and a good gym!
Well, I think that’s it for updates for now. I hope to be back with a few more posts.
Until then, happy days to you all!
Question: How many times have you moved?Since David and I have been married (10/08) we have moved about 6 times. I cannot wait to have all of our stuff in one spot!
