Whew, what a whirlwind weekend and week so far it’s been! Lets see.. back up to yesterday. I’ve dealt with horrible allergies for as long as I can remember and no medication has helped.. so I’ve learned to pretty much deal with it. But it really sucks when I go to someones house and break out in hives due to their pets.. so I decided to finally see a specialist! The doctors were so awesome there and pretty much didn’t know how I’ve been living this way for so long. LOL. Out of the 60 different items they tested me for, I was allergic to 59 of them. The only thing I wasn’t allergic to was wheat! OMG, my back was sooo itchy during the test!

I also had a CT scan done of my sinuses..and apparantely I’ve had a chronic sinus infection for years and even have built up a cist because of it. Oh, and they are so infected that everything is closed off..meaning nothing drains..which would explain why I can’t ever breath through my nose. LOL. Yikes!!
Anyway, all the foods they tested me for allergies came up as a mild allergy..so they are going to re-check them with a blood test for more positive results. I will keep you updated! We do know that milk came back fully positive as being mildly allergic to it. Say what?! Not even an intolerance..an allergy! Crazy stuff.
Anyhow, today has involved a lot of stress trying to get my nursing classes situated. Bascially I have class 2 days of the week, the other 2 are 8 hour long clinicals, and then I work as an LPN for the other 2. I’m super busy!!
I did manage to squeeze in a workout today though.. it helped calm my stress down! Here’s what I did:
Upper Body
- Dumbbell Shoulder Press (25′s), 4×10 superset with Lat Pull Down (85 pounds), 4×10
- Incline DB chest press (30′s), 4×8 superset with Bent Over Barbell Rows (80 pounds), 4×10
- Straight Arm Pull Down (37.5 pounds), 3×8 supersetted with Skull Crushers (50 pounds), 3×6-10
- Lateral Raises (12.5 pounders), 4×10 supersetted with Reverse fly machine (45 pounds), 3×8
Then I did some hanging leg raises and weighted crunches!
