When you learn about Ayurveda, a very frequent word that you come across is ayurveda dosha. Ayurveda dosha is nothing but a humor that builds the human body. There are three ayurveda doshas (say components) that form the tissues/cells, systems and so the whole human body. Ayurveda describes each dosha with its properties, characteristics and maintenance.

According to Ayurveda, ayurveda dosha help keeping the body, mind and soul in harmony. Ayurveda doshas, if remain balanced, help in developing immunity and restore body systems that face daily wear-and-tear. There are three main doshas -Vata dosha, Pitta dosha and Kapha dosha. The vata dosha is responsible for all bodily movements (i.e. nervous systems), the pitta dosha governs all the digestive equations (i.e. metabolism -digestion, absorption and assimilation) and helps in maintaining the body temperature. The last one, the Kapha dosha, is a structural unit of the body tissue/cell and forms the whole body. It is also responsible to maintain the immunity.

Any impediment, alteration or disturbance in these ayurveda doshas will lead to one or the other health ailment and hence, one has to keep all these doshas under control, within their normal limits. Ayurveda describes that any disease would have imbalance of one or more ayurveda doshas. For instance, arthritis is considered to be a pure vata dosha vitiation but rheumatoid arthritis involves disturbance of vata dosha and kapha dosha. The treatmet in ayurveda depends upon the dosha involved.

You can find ayurveda doctor or find ayurveda physician who is master in determining the dosha involvement in problem you suffer from. You can search ayurvedic physician who can rule out which dosha is involved and treat you accordingly. There are plenty of websites such as ayurvedadosha that help you getting enough information and solutions about Ayurveda.
