A few weeks ago, Kath posted about Adagio teas. I’m as much a tea junkie as I am a java junkie, so I decided to check Adagio’s site out… 5 minutes and I was hooked. Two days, and all this was on my kitchen counter:
Almond. Oriental Spice. Vanilla. Hazelnut. Yunnan Jig. Tiger Eye. Caramel. Honeybush. Mocha Nut Mate. Coconut. Cream.
What I’ve tried:
Yunnan Jig: This is spicy with the added sweetness of chocolate. It’s very smooth. It wasn’t my favorite, but it was still good.
Coconut: Delicious! Very, er, coconut-y. It was actually very nice as a tea! Cozy and yummy.
A blend of almond, vanilla, cream, and coconut: This is what makes up Adagio’s birthday cake blend, so I decided to try it myself. I’ll have to tweak it a little. It was good, but not birthday cake good… yet.
Mocha Nut Mate: SO GOOD… almost coffee-like! Nutty and chocolate-y. My favorite part: there were actually mini chocolate chips with the leaves!
Honeybush: MY FAVORITE… so far! Light, smooth, and so sweet. It tasted like I had added a ton of honey, when it was completely unsweetened.
More to come!
In the meantime, check out the site for sure. They have a huge selection with tons of really helpful reviews, and it’s inexpensive… who could ask for anything more?!
