We bowed adieu to our vacation by enjoying the final show of Promises, Promises. Bo’s parents bought us tickets for my birthday and it was the perfect gift. We thoroughly enjoyed the show’s song and dance numbers.
It was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to end our vacation. One thing is for sure, when Molly Shannon was on the stage, we felt like we were in the SNL audience. She was hilarious and has the perfect personality for theatre. The cast burst into tears after their final bow and then the lead members thanked the crowd and each other for such a wonderful show. What is your favorite Broadway show?
Luckily we had an easy dinner planned tonight since we weren’t sure what time the show would end. We pulled out the final container of chili and made a delicious, huge salad reminiscent of the salads Bo’s family made while we were home.
Tonight’s salad was a WINNER due to all the wonderful ingredients which added so many new tastes.
-salt & pepper
-few shreds of parmesan cheese
I love discovering leftovers in the freezer and having the ability to find their original date and recipe on the blog. This huge batch of chili was made back in October but still warmed up perfectly.
Do you make extras so you’ll have leftovers or are you a leftover hater?
