And now the first ever ACE blog post! I talk about ACE all the time so I figured it might be fun to do a little series on my ACE experience! I should probably have started with a post about starting ACE, my summer at ND, etc. but I wrote this a while back so it’ll have to do for now!
So, here you go!
The Adventure Begins….
I stayed out all night the night before I was supposed to drive the 11+ hours from South Bend to Baton Rouge. Saying goodbye to friends and putting off packing will do that do you.
Me with blond hair. So weird to think my hair was long and blond!
Thankfully, my awesome new roommate, Steph, drove the first chunk our trip.
My car was packed to the brim…
And I was about to move to the South…the only “southern” state I had ever been to was Florida. And I don’t think that counts.
We saw some strange stuff during our ride down…
These were taken in a gas station.
Some random road signs…
I had no idea what I was getting myself into…but I was excited! More posts to come on my classroom, my ACE house, and adventures in BR (Baton Rouge)!
In other news…
I got a summer job! Whewwwwww. [sigh of relief]. I was getting worried!
Lunch: Picture a turkey sammie on whole wheat with lettuce and dijon. And some Sun Chips. Man, I love Sun Chips! I don’t remember the last time I’ve had these…they are delicious!
