A Young Hispanic Male Thrives on Evolutionary Fitness

Posted Apr 09 2009 6:59pm

My Parents are from Jalisco, Guadalajara Mexico.

I had no real health issues (Probably am preventing a bunch now). I have a family history of cancer & diabetes the family but nothing yet in my immediate family. I’ve always been into fitness, then more & more into health as well but originally, I started as an experiment: I had a summer in college off & wanted to work on my body so decided to “eat to fit” my goals.I did a big revision of my diet (For the time being i thought) based on the information i found thru your guidance & examples (I was trusting because of the logic & general food recommended to the approach). I actually found your site researching on improving testosterone thru diet: no supplements.

Before going on Evolutionary Fitness

Weight: 175Lbs. Moody. hazy in thoughts & in recollecting of memory. Slower in general reactions: Physical & mental-sometimes had to read & re-read an article to catch its meaning fully (Compared to now)

After being on Evolutionary Fitness

Weight: 145/150Lbs. Mentally sharp. Clear thinking.

I can tell you that physical, mental & emotional/Mood changes have been seen:

  • I am stronger, quicker, leaner but more muscular & have taken on the “Cut” look you mention.-Ill get some images going.

Before. i would work out & would gain muscle/strength but would lose it if i did not keep up with my routine (Maybe after a few weeks or month). This is not the case now, as even the occasional stop in training will not take a tool on my strength & look. I also never had any “Runners high” after an intense workout before like I do now.

  • I can think clearer, faster & can more easily concentrate: To me, it seems the lack of nutrients caused a mental distractions to where my body was uneasy & could not get itself on track (or maybe there was not enough nutrients to go around for the body & mind to where optimal performance could be reached?) or it had a stress reaction to the “bad” piece of food in my meal(s)
  • My general outlook as shifted from (how i describe it) a general pessimistic to a general optimistic view. My mood is stable; a happy, calm one now.
