A Letter to Whole Foods: Even Alabama Needs Healthy Food

You may or may not already know that I love Whole Foods Market . The store in Green Hills, TN will forever feel like my home away from home. I get great prices there on organic produce and tofu and the variety of vegetables they provide is awesome. I also advocate shopping at local farmers market as much as possible. It's great for the community, the country, and for small business owners. Oh yeah, and your health! There is a Western supermarket right next to my new home and I've popped in a few times during a time crunch. I always leave angry and slighly nauseated. There largest bag of carrots they carry will have about 6 or7 carrots in it... don't get me started! And if you're looking to Get More Greens in Your Diet , don't even go there. A Whole Foods Market, though, will hook you up with some greens. But I'm not always happy with WFM and in some circumstances, you just have to speak up!
