A Good Natural Cure For Fibroids - How To Eliminate Fibroids

I was very disappointed at the options offered to me when I had large fibroids and I spent many hours looking on the internet looking for natural cure for fibroids. I had had fibroids for a couple of years and they had increased in size dramatically over a short period of time.
When I went to see my doctor about my increasingly large abdomen, fibroids were not considered. Indeed he incompetently told me that I had abdominalfat and that I should diet! Although I admit to being a little overweight, I wasn’t that big and looking back now, the fact that I had fibroids should have been really obvious. I was suffering from anemia and was out of breath all the time and my periods were very heavy. Intercourse was also painful (although I didn’t tell the doctor that at the time).
By the time my fibroids were diagnosed, an ultrasound exam showed that I had one fibroid which was the size of a large grapefruit, a number of apple-sized ones and several smaller clumps. In fact the examiner said that my abdomen resembled a 7 month pregnancy. As my fibroids were so large, I was given no real treatment options. I couldn’t go for the procedures which simply cut away fibroids or those which shrank individual fibroids by blocking the blood vessels and cutting off the blood supply.
Strong hormones to block off the effects of estrogen was suggested as this would temporarily shrink the fibroids and I would have a hysterectomy about 3 months later, depending on how successful the treatment was. At that time I asked if there was a natural cure for fibroids, but the doctor kind of brushed off my request, saying that a hysterectomy was the best option and as far as he was concerned, he had only heard anecdotal evidence and could not recommend how to eliminate fibroids
One thing which heartened me was the fact that fibroids were not dangerous. As horrible as the symptoms were, I knew that they were not cancerous and this gave me “thinking time”. When I was first told I had fibroids, I started to do a little research and had come across a system which claimed to be a natural cure for fibroids. Although I had been skeptical, now faced with surgery I decided to take a closer look.
There are very few doctors who specialize in how to eliminate fibroids naturally and those who do can be very expensive and it can be hard even to get on the waiting list-let alone be seen. Also, you could be looking at a bill for thousands of dollars. I found one such doctor who had her own practice, who had had huge success in helping women to use a natural cure for fibroids. It had been so successful that she has developed a system which is available on the internet which women can use at home to treat their own fibroids, with the support of free online help should it be needed.
It didn’t take me long to make my mind up. I knew that a hysterectomy was a possible outcome, but before committing to it, I wanted to try to cure them naturally. I figured that I had absolutely nothing to lose as with fibroids, I could try the cure without the cloud of, a serious illness hanging over me. Of course the symptoms were really bad at times, but I guessed I could live with them a bit longer if this natural cure for fibroids would work.
What surprised me was the fact that the treatment was not straightforward! It really is no good if you are after a fast quick-fix. With a natural cure for fibroids you have to be well-driven and take control of your own treatment and be prepared not to sway from the recommendations to get the best results. I would say that if you are not prepared to put in the effort, then don’t bother. For me it included big changes in both my diet and lifestyle which were quite difficult sometimes. However, a few months down the line and it was all well worth it.
At first I thought it was pointless-I had lots of doubts. However, after just a few days, I realised that the swelling in my stomach was going down and my periods were lighter. It took a couple of months before I could say I noticed major changes and since then, scans have confirmed that my fibroids have greatly reduced-so much so that I am not considering any further treatment. I still have some fibroids but they are small enough to cause no symptoms at all.
The principles of how to eliminate fibroids is based around the fact that in order to shrink them, it is necessary to remove what has caused them. Now discovering causes can be hard as they can be different in each woman and in some cases, there can be no obvious causes. There are though a number of factors which make women likely to have fibroids, for example, being of Afro-Caribbean origin, being in your thirties onwards and being overweight. There are also a number of other more subtle factors which can also come into play and it is equally important to take these into account.
One often very important principle in a natural cure for fibroids is based around the fact that excessive estrogen in the body can “fuel” fibroid growth. Sometimes this estrogen is natural and may be because the woman is overweight-in which case steps to lose weight can also result in a degree of fibroid shrinkage. For others, it’s not so much natural estrogen which causes the problems, but estrogen-like substances which build up in the liver which are present in everyday pollutants and pesticides which can cause problems.
To sum up, this treatment is not a quick fix method, but you need to bear in mind that neither is surgery. The recovery time can be greater than the time it should take you to see significant results. If you do go for certain types of surgery, you may need hormonal estrogen to block the action of estrogen and this can cause menopausal symptoms. In addition, with all but a hysterectomy, the fibroids could grow back.
I think all women should consider a natural cure for fibroids. There is a complete, systematic approach which you can try completely risk-free.
If you are the type of person who is not prepared to invest some time and effort into your own healing, then this will not work for you. There is no magic “tablet” you can take which will show you how to eliminate fibroids. However, if you are willing to follow the advice, this will work to reduce your fibroids-often some women find that they have no signs of fibroids at all after treatment. The good thing is that although your fibroids might take a few weeks to begin to shrink significantly, this is still much less time than the start to finish of surgery. Also, you will begin to get rid of some of the symptoms of your fibroids within days.
