In my opinion, there is no better way to start the day than with a delicious and filling omelet.
2 eggs whites + 1 yolk, spinach, and cheddar cheese plus an english muffin with jam on the side. A breakfast like this takes a few extra minutes to prepare but it is totally worth it since I feel fuller for quite awhile afterwards.
Workout
Lately, sleep has trumped any kind of morning gym workout so I decided that during Ryan's afternoon nap, I'd bust out Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I downloaded this workout video off of Amazon Instant Play months ago but sadly never got around to trying it out.
I absolutely loved this workout! It kind of felt like Body Pump at times and my heart was pumping throughout the whole 30 minutes. I'm thinking this is a great alternative to a morning gym session especially if I pair it up with a stroller jog or long walk during the day. Amazon Instant Play has a ton of great workout videos for a really fair price so I highly recommend checking these out on a day you want to squeeze in a workout but can't get yourself to the gym.
And what better way to reward myself for a good workout?
Homemade FroYo!!
1 Banana Handful of Frozen Strawberries and Blueberries Splash of Soy or Almond Milk Blend it up to desired consistency and sprinkle in some chocolate chips. (plus a few extra handfuls straight from the bag to my mouth).
Creamy, healthy, refreshing, and fulfilled any sugar cravings.
I think Jillian Michaels would even approve of seconds ;)
