#9 ahh ahh ahh ahh ahh stay’n alive stay’n alive

Some of my friends, and certainly all my family…know that my house is where plants come to die.  Its not that I forget to water them, or I dont repot them when needed, or my cats eat them. My house, is just a plant cemetery, with all 5 apartments I’ve lived in…not a single plant has survived. My mothers house on the other hand, looks like a tree nursery. That woman could give life to a tumble weed.

My plan comes in two parts. ONE, keep the 2 currents plants I have alive (one aloe I bought from ikea 7 months ago, and a spider plant from my Dad’s original mommy spider plant, that is about 3 months old). And two, when the weather gets nicer, take advantage of the amazing front porch I have and make my own little city garden. I doubt I’ll be able to grow veggies or fruits, being that squirrels run rampant in my neighborhood. But some flora and fauna to liven up the place! Cheers to the green thumb!

you can tell in this one, the little edges are turning brown! And i also had to remove some brown decayed leaves before I took this photo. Its amazing, really. I can take care of 2 cats, a dog and 2 lizards, but I can’t keep a plant alive for the life of me… to be continued.
