1 1/4 cups all purpose flour ½ cup sugar ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar ½ teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract 1 Egg 4 tablespoons Earth Balance
1/2 cup confectioners powdered sugar (mix 1 tablespoon cocoa powder for chocolate icing) 1 tablespoon almond milk Sprinkles
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Make a well in the center. Whisk in the wet ingredients until mixture forms a smooth batter. Transfer to a pitcher or fabric piping bag. Spray doughnut pan with cooking oil. Fill pan with batter. Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes (until doughnuts appear lightly browned). Let cool on wire rack before decorating.
