 Famous words from an infamous, fake newscaster.Truth is, he's right. Some percentage of the time, you are right all the time. But, if you're not right at least 90% of the time, perhaps its time to focus your efforts elsewhere... If you lead a team, and you keep messing up the agenda, the projector, the invites, the sponsorship, the recruitment, the speaking, the meeting management etc., try to find somebody else to do it. Even if you're "right" more than half the time, being mediocre at something is no longer good enough. Your team needs you to do what your best at. 90% of the time is better than 70% of the time. If you're working on creating change, a C won't cut it. Focus on what you are best at, recruit others to do what they're best at. |
