5 Healthy Eating Tips to Help Prevent Urinary Tract Infections

You find yourself frequently rushing off to the bathroom and when you do get there, the burning that you feel while urinating can be close to unbearable. Try some fiber
Fiber is good for just about everything when it comes to maintaining optimum levels of health. This is because it helps in keeping waste from collecting in our systems. As it directly relates to preventing a UTI, fiber actually triggers an acid response within our bodies that creates an environment where bacteria are unable to grow and thrive.
Foods with Vitamin E are always good
Vitamin E is considered to be both a natural healer and a booster for our immune systems. That’s because it is a powerful antioxidant and the more that the body is equipped with ways to fight off infections, the less likely you are to contract one. Sugar is actually what bacteria breeds in and so going without lots of foods that are made from processed sugar like cakes, cookies, candy and carbonated drinks are proactive measures against this kind of infection. Satisfy the urge for sugar by eating some fruit and drinking some water, instead.
