5 Faces You Should Not Make When Teaching a Cooking Class

Posted Jul 12 2012 10:13pm

Apparently I cannot teach a cooking class without looking like a dork. One of my sweet clients brought her camera (a Canon PowerShot G) to the class to take pictures so I could see how great that model was. Since I am looking at cameras, this was great! Until she showed me the pictures! (Note to self, do not take photos from an upward angle….) All the faces I am making are ridiculous! Lol, it’s a good thing I don’t worry too much about stuff like that.

Another funny face photo from another amazing client

Anyways, we had a blast the other night at my Healthy Foods to You cooking class on Marinades, Dressings & Sauces! I was able to whip up:

-BBQ Sauce

-Sweet and Spicy Mustard

-Green Goddess Dressing

-Pineapple Lime Dressing

-Lemon Tahini Dressing

-Blueberry Sauce/Jam

and I did a live demo of how to make Paleo “No Penaut” Peanut sauce! It was so fun being able to talk about food and enjoy some delicious dips and dressings! Here are some of the pictures that my client took!

Yet another akward Kim face….

I think if I could teach classes all the time, that I would be a super happy camper. I don’t know if it’s because of my being an only child and my need for attention or what, but I love being in front of a group. It energizes me!

So…that leads me to the question of the day….

If you could go to a cooking class, what kind would it be??
