Hatha yoga involves combining physical yoga postures and pranayama breathing to control and calm the mind. The word hatha can be divided into two parts. HA means the sun or positive energy, and THA means the moon or negative energy. Hatha yoga means the union of the positive and negative energy emanating from the human body. If you synchronize your breath to your postures and give 150% of your attention to your body then you will gain the most benefits.
