ICING WHEN I THINK I NEED IT (doesn’t happen as much as it should)

In all honestly, I’m not the best role model when it comes to icing. It DEFINITELY doesn’t happen as much as it should. But I know it helps!
Runner’s World has a great article on ICING . Here are the highlights:
Ice immediately after a run
20 minutes is about right
Ice lots (5 times a day)
The whole point of applying ice to an injury is to help reduce the swelling & inflammation of the injury. Not only that, but with me...it just makes it feel better (maybe because it’s too numb to feel anything)!
What are your tips & tricks when it comes to icing? I need some motivation & help with this one!
