3 Weeks to Tri It!

I recently found out I was not selected for the Empire State Building Run Up 2010!  Sadness.  Thus, I decided to bite the bullet and sign up for the Jack Rabbit Sports Indoor Tri….on January 31st!

That is not a lot of time to train,  so I need to bike, swim and run to it asap.  And by ASAP, I mean tonight!  Unfortunately, I am working crazy early and late hours starting Friday straight through the weekend, so fitting in training will be interesting.  But where there is a will, there is a way right?

The indoor tri looks like this:

  • 10 minutes swim
  • 30 minutes biking on a spinning bike
  • 20 minutes run on the treadmill

The goal is to complete the most yardage for each activity in the alloted time period.

While I don’t have too much fear of any of these things individually, the running after the biking and swimming is a bit concerning!

In other news, huge congrats to the many many bloggers who ran Disney over the weekend.  Amazing job on your magical journeys!  I am inspired!

Since many of you took the same stance as me on resolutionaries, I thought I would share this great someecard:

My NewYear’s resolution is to switch to a gym where there are far fewer people whose New Year’s resolution was to go to the gym.
