3 Day Weekend

Posted Nov 09 2012 9:44am

I have off Monday so you know what that means; THREE DAY WEEKEND!! I am so excited so spend the weekend in NJ with my family.

Things I am looking forward to this weekend / things I am thankful for.

  • I am looking forward to the Commute to NJ tonight. Even though the trains are not running and the buses are going to be crowded with extra long lines I don’t care! I am looking forward relaxing on the bus for as long as it takes.

  • I am looking forward to seeing my family. Being in NYC away from my family during Sandy has as been tough. When I talked to my mom and she explained how cold she was without power or how she went to the grocery store and there was no food it broke my heart. I wanted to be there, I wanted to help but I knew deep down inside there was nothing I could do. Thankfully my parents got there power back last night and things are looking up for them.

Here we are with Mark Sanchez. Let’s pretend he is my husband.

  • I am looking forward to getting hair extensions. A few weeks ago I chopped off all my hair and I hate it. Call me spoiled, call me a brat but I want my long hair back. I won a gift certificate at a charity auction a few months ago for a hair salon in NJ. I decided to use the gift certificate to get hair extensions.

The left shows my short hair cut and the right shows my hair before the cut. My extensions will similar to the left photo.

  • I am thankful my parents taught me how to be a good person. If it wasn’t for my parents I wouldn’t know what it’s like to volunteer or help the community. Even though my parents where struggling during this tough time there where still out there  everyday volunteering. I am looking forward to volunteering with my family this weekend to help the victims of Sandy.

My dad even made the paper!

  • I am thankful for my CrossFit Family. I honestly can say it a million times I am so happy I walked into that CrossFit gym and decided to join Reebok CrossFit Fifth Avenue. I have met so many amazing people and coaches and I can not be more thankful for them. They where there for me during Sandy and they are there for me everyday I walk into that box.
