I cannot believe another year has passed us by! Time really does fly by. Just another reason to live in the moment and enjoy all that life has to offer
Looking back on 2012, it was a pretty big year for me.
I never realized all my accomplishments for the year until I sat down to review and reflect on the past months. I’ve accomplished a lot in a year, many of the things are those which I never thought I would be able to do. It’s crazy how a little motivation and determination can lead you to great success. I’m proud of all my accomplishments and I am really excited to see what 2013 brings my way. My 2012 successes have built my confidence tremendously and sets me up for great things in 2013!
Each year I like to set goals (or resolutions) for myself to complete over the next 12 months. Some are little ones, some are big. Either way, I focus on trying my best to complete them. I did a pretty good job with 2012 with setting out to run my first half and full marathons, graduate with honors (a 4-year long goal), and start my track on becoming an RD.
Here’s what I want to do in 2013 both physically and for my well-being:
Give back and help those in need(in the process of creating an event for the beginning of the year – more to come on this later!)
Ween myself off of all sweeteners – I’ve done well in the past year getting myself down to 1/2 a packet of truvia per cup of coffee with a little of real sugar – my goal is to eventually only use 1 packet of sugar and no sweetener – it won’t be easy, but with time I know it will happen
Learn to Relax – I’m usually go-go-go (which isn’t a bad thing), but sometimes I tend to forget that my body (and mind) need to rest
Enjoy the year and don’t wish away time
Here’s to a new year, a new beginning, a chance to make a difference in the lives of others.
I wish a happy and healthy new year to each and every one of you! May 2013 be your best year yet
Question: What are some of your new years resolutions?! I would love to hear.
Happy New Year!!!
